Until you have been up there, you can't appreciate how neat it is to be a LSU fan in that city. They do love us.
Generally it is your "good" LSU fan who is going to spend the money and make the trip so they are representing LSU well.

Great story and all absolutely true. We went in 97 and 98 and the place is definitely infatuated with all things LSU.
Barret's is a cool little bar with sand volleyball out back. Most all of the team was there after the 97 win and, wow, that was one helluva after-party.
As an LSU fan you owe it to yourself to make the trip to Omaha. Long arse drive but what a trip.

Love this article! Makes me happy to hear nice things about LSU fans and wish I was in Omaha even more! I will be holding it down at a Sports Bar in Xalapa, MX on Friday instead.
