It's about the actual coach, not the model.

If you're good, you're good.

There are genius coordinators who have failed and there are non-coordinators who have succeeded.

Urban Myer was never a coordinator. He was the WR coach at Notre Dame when he got his first head coaching job.

Way too much talk has been put in this "model" discussion. It's about the person, period.

Why is this even a conversation? Are some of you still coming to terms with this?

Exactly, no one ever says this when Saban replaces a DC or a OC (which he pretty much always does)….

It is a rebuild model at its core

Coordinators + NFLSU culture of players cashing out > championship aspirations.

Fix this, AD.

handful of us tried telling all the idiots this after 2019 but they were so up CEOs arse they were unable to hear any of it

chances of him hiring the best coordinators like he suggested was laughable, they really believed he was some godsend that had special powers ton identify and persuade the best asst coaches to come to lsu

Clemson??? Worked out pretty well for them.

Dabo is clearly a talented coach in his own right. History has proved this. The man knows what he’s doing.
