The bigger issue and directly proves corruption.

Sorry if I am repeating this but I haven't this specifically addressed.

As bad as the ejection was and it was clearly wrong but the bigger issue is that their isn't even a appeal process. Now we all know that if their was it would likely be a sham anyway. But my point is that you can't even appeal this. The league takes the approach that their referees are beyond reproach. They are infallible, unable to make a mistake so we will not entertain the notion that a mistake might have been made. As bad as this is for LSU and it's fans this is a bad approach for the league as a whole. it gives the league the ability to manipulate and alter games without being questioned.

discuss.

Replay goes through the SEC office, so that is considered the appeal process.

Do other conferences do it the same way?

The SEC is going to make sure they protect their playoff teams, especially if that team is BAMA. The SEC and their officials are the most corrupt in the country.

this would be appealed if it involved an Alabama player (not that it ever would)

That is not a acceptable answer. I know that is their answer but it is not acceptable.

I guess my question to you is, who would you suggest oversee the appeal if the league office is the one making the call on replay?

The call is wrong. But, the BEST chance for the SEC to get 2 teams in the playoff is for LSU to beat Bama. See last season for example.

Call sucks and there is bias ( I believe). But, it is not in order to protect SEC playoff potential.

Beat Bama, anyway!

But it’s an in-game, on-the-fly ruling that is treated like an instant replay on an out-of-bounds play. It’s not an appeal to deem malicious intent to justify suspension. The rule should be changed to allow an appeal for a grading system to determine a suspension. Devin White’s hit was, at worst, late hit, roughing the passer. If there was neck, head or helmet-to-helmet contact, it was incidental and wasn’t forcible. To allow a suspension to stand without a more thorough process for appeal is embarrassing, and if the SEC office wants to not look so biased, it should be changed this week to allow D White to play. Of course, they don’t care about anything but Ala “business decision” Bama, and they know there is really no recourse for other SEC teams. LSU should appeal to have the hit disciplined internally like “business decision” was allowed to do for literally throwing punches on the field in front of the refs and the world.

I didn't say I agree with it. I'm just saying that's the way it is.

You can't appeal, but Saban can go sit down with Sankey and discuss in house punishment for Raekwon Davis. Seems fair.

The fact that an official saw Davis punch a player 3 times and flag him, but not eject him and the booth official who has time to see the replay since there was a flag, but not call down and say he has to be ejected says all you need to know about the bias.

Same goes for the hit yesterday on the Tenn QB. They broke his collarbone likely. First he lowered the crown of the helmet, second he clearly hit him in the chin with the helmet and third he launched. Text book targeting. No ejection.

If we had a ad with any balls he would threaten to leave the SEC if they don't overturn this call. We could leave and be an independent or form a new conference with notre dame

There wasn’t a real review. They had their instructions. I predicted a number of weeks ago that the Gump Front Office/SEC would use targeting to take out one or more of our key players. This was genius because it didn’t happen IN the actual game. No one sitting around me last night in the stands even realized how big a screw had just been inserted in our anus

There's a reason you can't appeal these decisions, just like there's a reason you can't question an umpire in baseball on balls and strikes.

Hint: It has nothing whatsoever to do with believing that referees are above reproach.

There is absolutely no way this call gets overturned. It is not happening, quit bitching.

But yeah obviously I do agree Alabama is controlling everything and has been since Saban got there and kicked into high gear once Emmert took over the NCAA.

Looking for an honest answer...

Of all the stuff that IS reviewable why on earth is such a subjective call NOT?

In the off season the League must revisit this situation and make it correct in the future.
