Stacking the team stats side by side LSU does appear to be the more complete team. Big question mark for me. Can LSU maintain that uptempo-no huddle speed offense? My concern? The starters get gassed and start cramping in that stifling heat and LSU is forced to start substituting? The LSU coaches and team trainers are going to earn their money today!

I'm getting tired of this damn heat narrative...the heat index in Baton Rouge today is 5 degrees HOTTER (105° vs 100°) than Austin Texas today, and the base temperature is only 101° today in austin, it's 99° in Baton Rouge with much higher humidity... not only that but every single day of the last 2 weeks of summer camp the heat index ranged from 106°-116°. It is not any significantly different heat in Austin today than normal in Baton Rouge... rant over...

Without knowing what LSU’s offense had become and assuming Georgia Southern would slow the game down, that’s not an outlandish pick. They all think this game will be close, I disagree. Tigers by 2 scores.
