He surely hasn't evolved into the elite hitter I thought he would become. I guess LSU fans have been spoiled over the years since Skip came to town.
Here's hoping the Bear will come out of his partial hibernation and make pitchers shake in their spikes when he comes to bat!

I’ve also been thinking of this as the catalyst for his slump

He needs to be coached but Curiel or maybe go to eye doctor.
Seriously, when he falls behind in the count he is terrible!

He's chasing bad pitches. That's what batters do when they are in a slump.

Don’t waste your time. You can’t convince these delusional people with their head in the sand that Jones has never been able to hit good pitching. They’ll try to give you stats but we both see what he does against good SEC pitchers. Which is strike out 95% of the time.

You the idiot. He hits against North Alabama and North Dakota St but struggles against SEC pitching.

Yall need to look at his body of work. I realize this is the rant and it’s all about bitching in the moment. Look at last year he was killing it in the SEC tournament and in the regional. This year he is hitting .360 with 15 homers and 55+ RBI. He is absolutely in a slump right now but he has and WILL carry this team. He is a great hitter and in a slump. It happens to everyone in baseball.
