The basketball team is doing this with no home court advantage

due to baseball obsessed LSU fans. The lead would probably be double with a raucous crowd in the PMAC. When they give up this lead in the 2nd half the LSU fanbase has no one to blame but themselves

When the fanbase supports one program much more than the other, one program being more successful becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

Even with the crowd, when they finally got going on both ends it started to get loud. There’s a buzz at halftime. Got to keep momentum

Well one season is over due to ineptitude the other just began and there is much more optimism due to past success

And that means we are ok with that and the majority is getting what they want. Its hard to care about a dumb sport that resembles ping pong with a FT contest for the final 2 minutes

They win this game, there is a good chance they will be tied for 12th in the league....big IF...but if they win this game, that will be 3 in a row and a ton of confidence. Their remaining schedule is brutal...but if they went 2-2 to close out they would most likely finish in the top 11 or 12 in the league...guaranteed to make and host the NIT, and a shot at the play in game.
