Let them revel in their delusions, we have a team that can actually win something with this group Wade has put together and they hate that.

Baseball is the only sport that can dominate football talk on this board IMO. And barely.

Will "GOAT" Wade 
If you look back to what this team was at the end of Jones' tenure here to now, it's pretty amazing what he's done this early into his 2nd season.
When people bitch about certain things this team/Wade does, I'm not saying they're wrong, but most of those concerns would be more understandable if he was in year 3 or 4. This team is very young and to turn this team around in year 1 & 2 like he's done is pretty damn impressive.

If we win tonight, we'll be getting a lot of top 25 votes and our NET will climb into the top 20.
That will get this fanbase excited. We've got the talent to hang with anyone in the country if we play well. We just need to put it all together and close out games better.

Your perception and the reality of things are far apart. Football will never be a "tired" topic on the Rant. I think that basketball will get a lot more attention here when they actually ACCOMPLISH something over the course of a whole season.

We did receive votes in the AP poll last week. A win over #18 Ole Miss and starting out 3-0 in the SEC will definitely get fans excited.

This is the sense that I get from some of the posters here as well. It's especially telling that most posters that criticize Will Wade are also huge Ed Orgeron fans. Wait till baseball season ramps up those same Ed O lovers will be talking shite about CPM. They want to tear down any coach that looks competent to legitimize their lover boy.

Will Wade took over dumpster fire and CPM took over a once great program on the decline, Ed Orgeron was handed the keys to a fricking Ferrari and won't get out of second gear. He's like one of those rich, old, white hairs driving around in their Lamborghini at 30 miles an hour.

I know basketball is a game of runs, but they have to figure that one out and yes, a win tonight will go a long way

No one is talking about Coach O in this thread expect you two so STFU with your bullshite! This post had nothing to do about Coach O and honestly it's quite stupid all around. Football talk has only been heavy still because of the fact with the waiting on White and the others to announce!
