I'm a big basketball fan and am still excited, but the losses to Florida State, Okie State, and Houston were deflating. Those were our 3 biggest OOC games, and we blew it.
Now, I'm very happy with the two SEC wins (especially Arky on the road), and if we can manage to pull off another road win tonight at Ole Miss, enthusiasm will pick up again.
But those OOC losses took a bit of the wind out of our sails. But of course we still have a chance to achieve all of our goals. The biggest stretch will be back-to-back games with Auburn and Kentucky.

LSU is a football school that also has a very passionate baseball following. barring a deep tourney run basketball will always be on the back burner. it is what it is.

Some people just don't like basketball, and trying to force it on others will not help it either.
If Wade builds something really good here then more people will just naturally come.

yeah i think we’ve been a disappointment in basketball, given our expectations. We were the ones ranked in the Top 25 at the beginning of the season and now it’s Ole Miss.

I'm not trying to tear down anything the same thing fans say about the football program im just saying LSU haven't won the National Championship since 2007
They haven't won anything but a bunch of Bowl games ever since
