What about the pi that wasnt called on the fade to white in the endzone and the lsu player blatantly held his left hand and subsquently he had to make a more difficult catch with one hand which he didnt make? Took 7 points off the board for bama.

Please.
What about no flag on the Dupre touchdown where he was held/interferred and face-masked.

Speaking of face masked: what about the no call after Jennings had his face mask literally ripped off? (Oh yeah, and a special FU to CBS for running that replay more than once and never even mentioning the no-call on that penalty).

Finally, the PF call at the goal line can be rationalized but in the context of all the crap that happened exactly in that moment - red team players starting shite, etc.- discretion dictated off-setting AT WORST. Official makes a call that obviously has the preponderance to affect outcome of game.

why does LSU always seem to get bug eyed Ritter as the head official for most Alabama games

I think bama gets Ritter for ALL their critical games.

If you see Ritter calling some other game, you know bama has a bye or a cupcake.

I have many diehard gumps at my job even they admitted the officials were pro Alabama. Any neutral fan who knows football would admit the same. Did it stop us from choking at the end no. The fact that 2 flags were picked up in bama's favor, ball moved back (catch by dural for apparent first down)by one yard almost by official when clearly the replay shows where ball should have been spotted, the clear blown call on the touch back, no replay on a very close catch near the ground at end of regulations, etc. It was terrible but we choked plain an simple starting with the kick out of bounds. Gumps you won but your denial of the bias of the officiating is pure stupidity. Rant over

You cocksuckers would never agree to an outside referee team

We do all the time. Playing at neutral sites assures that neither team has their conference's officials.

No they didnt. As usual, Bama gets the benefit from the SEC refs. Slive wasnt going to keep his darlings out of the playoffs if he could help it.

Bama peeps are either too delusional or in denial if they thought any different.

Dude, EVERY year is a hell of a game.

The Alabama / LSU series has shortened my life expectancy by at least 5 years.

It's not the number of calls made, it's the calls made at critical times in a game. Remember Patrick Peterson's "non-interception" a few years ago? How about Saturday night's punt that "crossed the goal line" call made by a ref on the far sideline. He makes the call from behind two LSU players obscuring his view at the same time a ref standing on the goal line 5-yards from the play doesn't call the ball across. Enjoy the win. It's hard to lose with the odds stacked for you.

That was awful and how does it not get reviewed and overturned? It's not like there wasn't a 5 minute commercial to give them review time.

Great Idea

While the bumps pay the SEC refs to official multiple scrimmages and their spring game. LSU fans can harass them .

Brilliant, what else ya got

The refs didn't blow this game. There were missed calls on both sides. Vadal being stupid and the lack of qb play blew this game.

But the refs screwing Lsu in past bama games has Lsu fans watching them very closely and expecting it to happen every game now. We've become hypersensitive to bad calls in the bama game. I was expecting them to overturn the late fumble recovery myself.
