I was thinking 8-4 before yesterday.

That is very, and I do mean VERY, optimistic.

Not gonna happen.

A cornerback isn't worth 2 entire wins.

Getting Fulton back helps with depth and he certainly has potential. But let's not overreact to getting a player back who has very little experience thinking that he's going to make that kind of difference. That's way too high an expectation to place on one player. Even Patrick Peterson had his growing pains.

Fulton is our highest ranked CB by far and he's the third highest ranked player overall (behind Jacoby and Terrace Marshall). It's absolutely not absurb to think he'll contribute heavily at a (what was) weak position and bat down some balls or cause some turnovers in close games that we may have not gotten otherwise.

Sure. We should temper expectations before we see what he can do, but if he plays anywhere near his ranking he can certainly single handedly change the outcome of this season.

Honey Badger was never worth 2 wins.

How does Fulton make your prediction change from 8-4 to 10-2?

It takes away a perceived weakness in an otherwise beastly defense

If you have a liability at corner it can and will be exposed and it limits what you can do scheme wise

If Fulton is a lock down boundary corner that gives Aranda a lot more options

10-2 would be insane given our schedule. Even if we were coming into this season with almost no question marks, going 10-2 would be very difficult. Let’s hope the offense really surprises us.

The plays he made in the Arkansas and Georgia game helped blow those games wide open for us

You’re right... it was probably 3 or more.

10-2 would be a good season. You want to see improvement. Same with how LSU climbed back up from 08. If Ed can do that, then he will have earned to see this thing through.
