The 2026 CFP National Champion LSU Tigers will have an asterisk along side their name.

It'll be LSU and Kiffin needed/used NFL players to win the title. All those sportswriters, B1G coaches, and LSU haters will go all out on disparaging their 2026 National Title.
The run to the NC starts with Clemson Saturday night. It's time for Lane and LSU to usher Dabo into retirement.

2003 - Shared championship with USC
2007- 2 Regular Season Losses
2019- Only beat Auburn by 3, thus the championship is invalid
But seriously though, frick em. Just win football games and lets enjoy the season.

Whatever they need to tell themselves in order to cope. If I get to witness and enjoy the season and the trophy is in the LSU trophy case when it’s all said and done they can shove the asterisk up their asterisks.
I’ve heard Falcons fans say the Saints’ Super Bowl championship comes with an asterisk because of Bountygate. Whatever, that hasn’t taken anything away from my enjoyment of the Saints winning the SB. But somewhere in their little brains it helps them cope. Good for them.
