People forget the year he had last year with his injury and trained his butt off to get back on the field to help get that NC.
It’s November 30th tomorrow not October 30th. Technically, the normal season would be over so yes I see why he needs to opt out and start getting prepped for the NFL.

It's amazing the lengths some will go to justify TM quitting. He knew from the outset of the season that LSU would play well into December. He makes this great big speech, after Chase opts out, about how he is a team leader. Leaders don't quit.

Spoiled kids. Lsu football is headed down the tube and people on here want to thank a kid for quitting. NFLSU has done more to kill LSU football than anything else. These kids are very entitled.

Completely agree. The coaching of this offense is abysmal and ultimately playing this season out will do nothing to help him reach his goals. He and the entire offense deserves better. He worked his tail off to help get us all the great memories of last year and for that I will always be grateful.
