I appreciate what he's done for the team. He's been great but the thing that bothers me isn't him opting out or whatever anyone chooses to call it, what bugs me is why now?

Why play in the game last night? The very next day he, and I hate how this sounds, but basically quits. I don't understand.

It's like there's some behind the scenes stuff we don't know about. The timing is really weird.

I wish him success and I don't hate the guy but the timing is really weird. Don't know if O has lost the team or what but it sure seems like it's leaning that way.

Some changes need to happen very soon or quickly after this season ends.

The timing is what bothers me the most. I expected Marshall to leave but not in the middle, or even after 3/4 of the season. Particularly after he has a speech to the team last week and the next week he bolts. It just doesn't add up.

Get the frick off your high horse.

yes he got a ton of free stuff while a lot of posters on here pay money to TAF, merch, tickets, parking ect.. but yeah he has totally done more in 1 game for a football program then posters on this board have done for years. We might as well follow his lead by quitting the program all together right?

He didn’t quit on the fans, he quit on his teammates.

He gave a middle finger to his teammates.

It started with players like LF skipping the bowl game and is growing into players quitting early to declare for the NFL.

This is not going to be unique to covid. This is the start of a regular trend.

I think the only way you combat it is to treat it like a four year scholarship. If you quit early, there has to be consequence.

I’m not trying to be dramatic.. but plenty of kids would literally kill for a free ride for four years and all it comes with.

I don't see it that way. If that were the case, he wouldn't have played at all this season.

I honestly think there were other factors that made him make that decision. I have no idea what.

But I will say it sure seems like there's a major disconnect between some players and the coaches. Particularly players who played last year and know how special last season was and how this season is going and the lack of adjustments. That's just me speculating. It's just a guess.

But I hardly think Marshall had this motive to just dump on his teammates. I don't buy that at all.

The timing is really weird.

There it is again. One of the consistent and well worn "Pump Nut" proclamations.

And yet another candy arse snowflake that has never played a down of organized football emerges out from underneath his rock.

"Leave my LSU football player god alone. I love and worship him."

Hit the road TM. Wasted time on a quitter that could have gone to development of another player. Should have opted out at the beginning of the season. Kid has no sense of commitment and people like you support it. Kamala supporter?

Kid honored his commitment to the ridiculous season, regular season should have ended on Saturday. Move on!!! Just like a kid taking a Gap Year to prep for Grad school

You'd think you'd know how to at least spell "the real TM's" name.
