Bruh, it's Mercer. Mercer.. Does it really matter when you play them? Other teams should also improve as the season goes on.
I expected a blowout, but still figured Cincy would get a TD or two. In fairness they did drop a TD.

They also had another play on the first drive that was a touchdown if Ridder doesnt get it batted down. But lets not let optimism creep in

The last 3 recruiting classes for Bama was 1, 2, 1 and Cincy’s was 45, 41, and not in top 50. Not exactly apples to apples here.

Alabama’s - 7,2,3,1
Denbrock can’t make up for a serious mismatch in talent.
Cincinnati had no business in the playoffs.

People tripping over themselves all night to defend Cincinnati is one of the most embarrassing things I’ve seen on this board.
If it wasn’t already leaked that Denbrock was coming, nobody would have said anything positive about Cinci’s performance. It’s been embarrassing reading the comments. Cincinnati got absolutely ROLLED.
Talent differential be damned. They hardly moved the ball. Scored 6 points. Whether you like it or not they were the 4th ranked team in the country. At that point talent doesn’t have anything to do with it. You’re in the CFP, go perform.
“Licking his lips to get Walker Howard” give me a break. I’m a big walker Howard guy, he’s easily going to beat Bad Ball Brennan. But Cinci’s QB is going to be a 1st round pick. The WRs, TE, and RB all more talented than ours. They had plenty of talent to score 1 TD. And they got their shite kicked in
