LOL at a blue blood fighting for that loser coach. Blue bloods compete for titles…not for peak sweet 16 appearances.

Will Wade may be the best coach LSU could reasonably get. He would also excite the fans.

I just dont see a very accomplished coach coming here other than him. LSU is not a basketball school and hasn't shown it is willing to throw a boatload of money for basketball.

He’s never coming back. All of you are weak individuals.

Stranger things have happened. Coaches have returned back to Universities before. Bobby Petrino did it with Louisville, maybe Will Wade can come back at some point but if I were him I wouldn't come back.

When McMahon is ultimately fired, whether this year or next, what HOF or surefire national championship winning HC is LSU going to hire? If you can tell everyone who that is you might see a decrease in the Wade thread.

Was Bill Self’s wife seen looking at houses in BR? Was Danny Hurley spotted eating lunch at Superior Grill? Did Bruce Pearl come in a day early to check out the two(?) synagogues in BR for his inevitable move? Are there reports Mark Few is tired of the cold weather in Spokane and his dream has always been to live by the LSU lakes?

Spill the beans brother! Which HOF coach is Woodward lining up?!!

Wade has 0 chance as long as Scott and Pres Tate are here. 0 chance. Not .01. Zero.

Seems like there are several camps to this argument:

1. Forget it because Wade would never come back to the school that fired him. That's plausible but if LSU were in the market for a coach, it would behoove LSU to at least gauge interest.

2. Forget it because Woodward would never hire Wade to come back to LSU. I think there's probably some merit to that.

3. Forget it because Wade is a cheater. It's pretty clear that he was doing what everyone else was doing. He just got caught. In addition, what he was doing has basically been legalized.

4. Forget it because Wade is a terrible coach. Record and attendance figures everywhere he's been say otherwise. If you believe this, you may need your head examined.

5. I just want Wade back. Me too, brother. Me too!

There are other winning coaches. Not just that one. Again, we could hire Phil Jackson and some fans would still melt that we made the mistake of going with anyone else except the lone savior Will Wade.

I’m excited about the upcoming coaching search, and I hope fans will understand it might not start with, or even include, tGeneral. And as long as we get someone good, that’s just fine.

I just want consistent winning LSU Basketball. I don’t care who the coach is that does it.

Wade riles posters up, so it’s fun.
