If I was at first base I would’ve sent him as well. Fielder bobbled the ball. Run has already scored and you have smith to lead off the inning if he gets out.

Mathis barely scored before the third out. Not hustling and the play before Beloso trotted in and would not have scored if Mathis has been thrown out. Little details !!!!!
