Where you been the last month or so when we were winning? We lose a series and you show show up like flies on shite. You want to talk shite when we lose but hide when we win. You are the definition of worst kind of fan.

People (not just lsu baseball fans, average every day people) generally have more to say when things are bad. When things are good and there’s nothing to complain about, people are quiet and content. It shouldn’t shock anyone that more threads are made when we lose. Just frustrated people letting out their frustrations.

Apparently this needed explaining.

If Johnson was left with so little to work with . . .

CJJ was left with plenty to work. No idea why people keep suggesting he wasn't.

That we got swept in our 9th series of the season with a lot to play for is ALL on him.

If Johnson was left with so little to work with, why was Mainieri allowed to run the program into the ground?

Same reason as Orgeron.

So what did Schlossnagle do that Johnson didn't do?

He fired about 1/3 of the team and signed some upgrades

Weadjust is absolutely correct.

It was no secret (ask Kendall Rogers) that Schlossnagle inherited a mess of a weak roster at A&M. He wanted the LSU job, but the Aggies were pressing for a yes or no from him and he didn't want to blow an opportunity.
Meanwhile, Woodward didn't know what to do when his choice of Pat Casey was vetoed. He finally let Stephanie Rempe (Arizona alum, what a coincidence!) make the hire.

So here we sit, letting Ole Miss sweep us at home in an important late season series.

Our once mighty program is a shadow of itself.
Meanwhile, a coach we could have hired has rebuilt A&M's weak roster and has them with the best record in the SEC West.

If you think Johnson is a better coach, you're fooling yourself. Schlossnagle was a better fit (he had been an assistant at Tulane), knows how to build winning programs and he WANTED to come here.

People don’t want to admit it but Schloss is a better and more experienced coach right now. He took over a roster that was worse than LSU’s and completely rebuilt it. Now he’s competing for a national seed in his first year. Something that we were doing until we got swept at home in the most important series of the year.

You just admitted they were a very similar except for one series, yet one series separates a more experienced and better coach? Some of y’all don’t truly know baseball very well.

You just skipped over this part I guess? A&M was 29-27 last year and 9-21 in SEC play.

And I'm not looking at one series, I'm looking at the final result. They might very well be a top 8 national seed and we will probably traveling for a regional.

This team was in a Super Regional and on the rise last year. Almost the entire lineup is back and upgraded.17 wins is a reasonable expectation.

There's one major difference we lost Marceaux and Labas. There was no upgrade to replace them.
