Texas A&M Tailgating

Does anyone know which lot/lots the Tiger fans will be dominating for the A&M/LSU game this year? I would hate to get a pass and be surrounded by Aggie Guy for Turkey Day. Thanks

They do have a howdy variety of tailgating. Absolutely dissimilar to LSU's, so don't expect that.

Texas A&M & Tailgating
Do not go together! You could walk around all day and not see a single tent or cooler of beer. They have to tailgate in certain parking lots way away from the stadium, but you'd be hard pressed to find where they are. It's almost like if you picture LSU tailgating and then think of the exact opposite...that is aTm tailgating. I'll do you a solid and let you in on a secret. Do all your drinking at the Dixie Chicken and then just walk to the stadium...you'll have a better time than standing by yourself close to the stadium somewhere. You can thank me later!

Make sure you visit NorthGate if you haven't already. It's one of those please drop a bomb on Tigerland type of experiences.

Texas A&M Tailgating = Oxymoron
An oxymoron is a figure of speech that juxtaposes elements that appear to be contradictory.

Make a joke about the game. Say something witty or ironic. Observe the blank stares.
They are some of the most plain vanilla people in America. I found them humorless and bland. Whereas LSU football games are a celebration of life itself, A&M games have a way-too-organized martial feel to them. Like a whole stadium of people who had parents that made them open their Christmas presents in orderly fashion .
Good luck with the tailgate.

Me and some fellow tigers will be showing them how to drink, cook and talk shite at the lone star tailgate by Olsen field.

Not true. I know friends who set up tents not 100-200 feet from the stadium for every home game.

You're a moron. I went for the LSU game in 2012 and had a blast. Plenty of beer and food for free. Guess you just don't know what you're doing.

The Halliburton tent has the most swag of any tailgate ever.

He must not know how to find women. Or he's mad he couldn't get any.

2 years ago TAF had their tailgate party in the A&M student rec center across the street from Kyle Field

I'm sure you can find some fun there. Just don't be an arse and you'll get invited to tailgates. It also helps if you're an attractive female around 25 years old.

We took our motorhome to the last game at aTm. We got the official single game parking lot passes. We might as well have been in Houston we were so far away from the stadium. You couldn't even see the stadium from where we were.

Everything on their campus is a memorial to fallen Aggies. My first game there, I was surrounded by Corp members in their student union and berated for having a cap on as it's a memorial to fallen Aggies. Also accosted for stepping on the grass as it's (you guessed it) a memorial to fallen Aggies. They are indeed humorless pricks for the most part especially when in a group. It's almost like some sort of weird cult. Very creepy.
