Guy should not be starting…PERIOD. You can’t throw a secondary pitch then you’re not a pitcher, you’re a thrower. Ty Floyd is a thrower. It’s just batting practice now.

I wouldn’t say terrible. But definitely can’t start in SEC play without off speed. Collin’s I feel like is a better Saturday night guy.

His fastball is flat and he doesn’t have confidence in offspeed yet.

Floyd has a breaking ball. As evidenced by the last at bat. Why he doesn’t throw it more is a mystery. It’s not a great breaking ball but it’s enough to get them off the fastball. And with a fastball as good as his that’s good enough.
