I agree. Feels like they will pay to keep him and Yamin to platoon as C and at 1st as needed. I wonder if they will bring in another young catcher to take over the following year.

Caraway and Pearson stats are comparable. I think Caraway could use some more work. Garcia is usable being lefty.

They have no choice but to get someone in portal. They have to even if he's a dead bat. You can't have a bad glove behind the plate period and you don't know how much Serna will progress. Maybe he turns into all-world glove and bat who knows. Waiting and hoping is why we ran into the situation with Bide this year.
