When guys come into a situation and start making excuses, i.e., “it’s gonna take at least 4 years to fix this mess, 5 years to implement my system”, etc., it’s a dead giveaway that they’re already in over their head and they know it. Hard lesson learned from Curley Hallman and Lou Tepper.
