I am so tired of watching our hitters stand there and watching a perfect - down the middle, belt high - go by and fall behind 0-1. Is it a Maineiri rule that they have to have a strike before they swing??? They seem to always be behind in the count 0-1, 1-2, etc. Tougher to hit always behind in the count.

One of the biggest complaints this season has been swinging at the first pitch and not driving up the pitch count.
