Smaller program?

Florida State won a national title with Fisher and until only recently has a richer football history. Seminoles were not a smaller program.

If you think FSU has anywhere near the clout LSU has presently or historically, you are mistaken. With the singular exception of Bobby Bowden's tenure, FSU has not been a hair on LSU's arse. That included Jimbo's time there.

Kentucky won the game but we stole their coach?

Not holding my breath on this one.

The usual suspects minus anyone that causes a ruckus.

All the talk about Woody being exclusively a big game Hunter exclusively is dumb. He’s gonna hire the best coach for LSU regardless of where he is now or his past experience. Some LSU alumni are gonna have to swallow their pride

Sounds like Napier. What a disappointment to be honest. Was hoping they could finally hire a true playcaller instead of statue figurehead to stand on the sidelines and cheer. Napier doesn't strike me as anything special in any category.

He’s talking about A&M. Woodward did not pick Jimbo from a smaller program. FSU is 10x the football program aggy is

He’d suck here since our drug testing policy is obviously far more severe than at UK (or anywhere else for that matter).

How 'bout that. Just like at LSU.

quote:

Napier is his own quarterbacks coach, and he’ll call the plays at Louisiana, “because it’s as close as I can get to playing again,” he says with a smile. When he took over Arizona State’s offense last season, Napier created an abridged version of Alabama’s elaborate system, a one-back spread offense with pro alignments that can operate at varying speeds. The offense’s run game is mostly derived from longtime Alabama assistant Joe Pendry, and its play-action passing game comes from Lane Kiffin’s offense. The scheme includes some Air Raid from his stint in 2017 under former Sun Devils head coach Todd Graham, and he borrowed Jim McElwain’s tactics for instructing and teaching passers, something on display during this quarterback meeting.

I sure hope not. I’ve been an LSU fanatic my whole life (68 years). I now life in Mobile Alabama on a mission of mercy. If this goes down, I may have to change my allegiance.

I would melt so hard. Kinda makes me wonder with Woodward being at the game when he wasn’t supposed to last week.

I'm betting being the head coach of an SEC team is more than you have accomplished

Fla.St is not smaller than A&M, Baylor women's B-ball is not smaller than LSU's.
