Assuming Marshall enters the draft, do you think it's possible for him to pass Chase in the draft? He's been incredible this year. Dude is a touchdown machine. He's bigger than Chase, but he does have that foot injury from last season.

Depends on how they run at the combine or Pro Day. He will definitely be in the discussion.

I wish both of them the best and hold no ill will towards Chase, but I do think it would be pretty funny if TM6 got drafted before him. I think it's entirely possible.

Something to be said for one less year of wear and tear on the body, but also something to be said for one more season of experience in the SEC.

Maybe, but Chase is the better receiver.

Now I'm just imagining a line item on the combine chart that just says "Chest" and a check box for yes or no

Both are legit NFL receivers. It’s crazy that LSU fielded a franchise QB, starting RB, and potentially 3 #1 receivers in the NFL all at the same time.

Yeah, same. My post isn't meant to slight Chase, at all. Just wondering what you all think. Marshall's size is what led me to think that he could pass Chase, but what do I know...

Possible but I am Still gonna say Chase.

Chase spend last season catching TDs over the heads of now NFL CBs and 20 TDS in a season was amazing especially when you consider he was splitting looks with Jefferson and Marshall.

Marshall is a beast and I think he’s a first rounder for sure. If he goes out and dominates some top end CBs than he could pass a Chase up.

A MSU buddy of mine laughed when I said Marshall would be a top 20 pick. Said a 6’0 wide receiver needs to have more speed. I pointed out that he’s 6’3.

“Oh. Yeah he’ll be top 20 for sure.”

Chase made first round corners look silly last year. If Marshall can keep this pace against the good teams then he certainly can jump Chase.

Chase will have to answer the question on why he opted out.

Marshall, D Smith, Waddle all have a good chance of going ahead of Chase. It’s not popular to say but those three have demonstrated the Want and Chase did not when he opted out. That is huge to NFL teams. To be clear, Chase is still a first rounder but I’d be shocked if he went over either Bama receiver and if Marshall keeps it up, he will be behind him too.

I appreciate everything Chase did for LSU, but I would absolutely love for Marshall to pass him up in the draft. It won't happen though.

When did this 6'3 start with Marshall? They kept saying this on Saturday. I thought he was a legit 6'4?
