4 weeks at best. I think 3 would be really pushing it.

No. A Pyrrhic victory means the result came at too great a cost, and thus was not worth it.

If it were a true Pyrrhic victory, then we would prefer to have lost to Vanderbilt and kept our players healthy.

That’s not the case.

I am a doctor. 3-4 weeks. I hope LSU does therapeutic laser therapy. I imagine they do they are pretty state of the art. We do it in our practice, does very well for cellular restoration.

They’re hoping to have him back by Auburn. He had been playing with a minor break “for years” and it went unnoticed because it wasn’t causing him pain. This was inevitable, could have happened off the field.

According to 247

This seems reasonable. Auburn will be five weeks (less one day) after surgery. And if he can't go v. Auburn, he will have another two weeks to get ready for Bama.

It is the opposite of “a true pyrrhic victory”, which is a victory, the attaining of which, cost more than the benefits. While we paid a price for the Vandy victory, I don’t think anyone would take a deal to return all the injured to good health and to pay for it by taking a loss to Vandy. THAT’s what it would take to qualify as a true pyrrhic victory.

Now, had you left out “true” we could assume you were writing figuratively; you knew it didn’t actually qualify as a pyrrhic victory; but you were using hyperbole.

True truth is so beautiful.

if all he did was fracture a toe 3 weeks is absolutely a reality. I had the exact injury playing high school and had surgery the next day, I even played receiver. Got back practicing after 2 weeks and played the 3rd.

Man I had turf toe for like 2 years. I never could get over it. Bitch arse toes.

Difference bw soft tissue injury and just broken bone. If. I soft tissue he just needs the bone to grow around pin. Soft tissue can just not heal as quick and easy to rehurt
