Doesn’t matter. Let Crews work.

I’d say Dugas has above average speed

Yeah I don’t know who taught some of these guys to play baseball. Both on the team and in this thread.
If you’re referring to me, you can politely go frick yourself. My very 1st post was “He’s safe, but what the frick are you doing running there with 2 outs?” I blamed Jobert 100% until I saw the exchange between Jay and Jordan which confused me. Still does. Doesn’t mean I’m letting Jobert off the hook without more info, though.

Overreaction to last inning? I thought he would be at third easily. Base coach clearly held him up there.
Dugas was held or held himself at 2nd twice earlier in this series same inning

Crews up against righty Sewell, Morgan on 1st, Dugas on 2nd, 1 out
foul, 0-1
outside, 1-1
low, 2-1
swing and a miss, 2-2
low and away, full count
outside, walk!

That's on Jobert, 100%. Coaches frick up too. Players need to know and own the game.
Honestly imo the coaches should not have him in the game today to begin with
This too. Should have pulled him after the shite backup on Dugas' E. That's worse than not taking control there... 2B can E and the ball can drop but you MUST get the force at 2B there.
Just a liability with too many other options available.

LSU is down 6. They don’t need Dugas standing on 3rd right now to win this game.

2nd on the team in BB too lmao
That’s good but having the 2nd most BB on the team and still have the lowest OB% in the lineup isn’t exactly great

At least for now, we have questions about both our transfers from other powerhouses—UCLA and Vanderbilt. Hope Hurd and Little can solidify themselves.

White up for Rabbit's favorite play, bases loaded, 1 out
outside, 1-0
flyout to left, runners hold
outside, 1-0
flyout to left, runners hold

Same approach
Don’t swing at the off speed
Make him show he can throw a strike

I don’t know how anyone is saying otherwise. They’re making insanely elementary base running errors. Shouldn’t need a coach to tell you that you never try and take 3rd in that situation especially with 2 outs when you’re going to score on a single from 2nd anyway.
You never make the first or third out at 3rd base.
This plus the situation... momentum killed, down by 4, even if you subsequently score 2 on a base hit, still need 2 more to tie... it's just ridiculously bad.
