Is the worst thing you can do to them. Are they that good or is everyone else just playing poorly rn? They don't embrace the responsibility and respect being #1 deserves

While you’re not wrong, I hope and pray our players, in all sports, aren’t as emotional and fragile as our fans are.

There is no great team this year, it’s a lot of above average teams with holes. This may be the worst top 5 in a while

Nobody told them they are #1. A poll said they are. It's a poll that changes week to week based on outcomes.

You say this like you are a part of the program,know a lot of the players personally, and have any idea about the demeanor of the team in general. But you don't in regards to everything I mentioned. You're just bitching because a baseball team lost a game after a poll ranked them #1.

You’re right, but so is the OP. His point isn’t that LSU should not be #1; it’s that kids that age can’t keep that in perspective. They need to stay humble, and a number one ranking doesn’t help that. Look at the lack of effort mistakes from last night.
