SEC: LSU, Bama, Auburn, Georgia, Tenner, Florida
Big 12: Texas and Oklahoma
Pac 12: USC
Big 10: Ohio State and Michigan
ACC: Clemson and Florida State

Am I missing any here? Or have I added a couple that aren’t capable? When you think about it, the bin isn’t that deep for programs that are capable of winning one, we will be sniffing one (and winning them) quite frequently in the coming years.

Can we really say Oklahoma? Outside of one year where they kept it close in their playoff game with Georgia, they get stomped.

And Kansas State sometimes, and Iowa State sometimes.

Id add Penn state, oregon, tcu, miami, a&m, maybe wisconsin with fickell.
The fact that TCU made it this year i think the list should be a lot more expansive

TCU got decimated, just like Notre Dame a few years ago. To me, the list is about capable recruiting and resources. Just because you make it to the game doesn’t mean you are capable of winning it. Wisconsin has never won one, A&M hasn’t since the 30s (although I’d say they are a bubble team to the list). I could concede Oregon though, Miami is still a huge question mark.

Oregon has been to 2 natties and have Nike backed NIL. I don't know if they will but I think they're capable with the right coach.

And Tennessee lost to South Carolina.
Texas lost to Texas Tech.
Florida lost to Kentucky.

Single games mean nothing in the grand scheme of the game.

I hate to say it but I saw that result coming. A&M was not as bad as 1-6 in the SEC and we were not as good as 6-1. The odds caught up with both of us. Only difference getting a lesser talented team to overachieve is what a good coach does. Brian Kelly deserves all the credit.

And we won a NC in 2019 and 2007 and 2003.

OU hasn’t won one in 20 year or and is like 1-7 in their last 8 bowls.

The best OU team lost to a good not great UGA team in 2017.

Add Miami Penn State and Oregon.

There are a few more that could if they had the right coach.

South Carolina is a good wildcard. All SEC teams have the opportunity, with NIL and the right coach, they could piece it together.

Could potentially see Oregon, Stanford, TAMU,UW, Miami, ND eventually getting in the mix. But I don't see that within the next 2 years.
