Just FYI
I'm pretty sure LSU has a final scrimmage scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 21. After that, they get a day off and begin preparing for North Texas on the 23rd. I could be wrong.
So, although they get a day off on Friday, they still "camp" Saturday and Sunday and after class on Monday before the Tuesday scrimmage ends it. I don't think these practices will be focused on North Texas. Rather, they'll still be "camp" practices.
That is, unless they've changed their schedule.

typically the day the students move into the dorms is the day the players move back to their personal places (dorm, apartment, etc)..that's why they call it "breaking camp"

Unless the schedule has changed, typically there's 2 weeks of game prep before the first game.
