I heard he had been with Hibbett a long time and was a regional manager, not a store manager, which would mean he made more than $15.00/hour.

What's bad is that he lost benefits for his child (if that's who he was insured with.) I don't give a rat's arse about him. I feel bad for his kid.

I think he's going to have a stigma on him a long time and finding any meaningful job in this economy (provided he doesn't go to jail) is going to be difficult.

He might be saying "Do you want to make it a combo?" or "Do you want fries with that?"

Excuse me.

That means that instead of making less than $30,000 per year, he made a whopping $31,200 per year.

I stand by my original assessment. If he's a 33 year old college grad, and this is the best he can do, he's either ambition-challenged or not the brightest crayon in the box.

Given his choices in N.O., I'm going with the latter.

I feel bad for any kid whose dad feels the need to put his balls on another man head (a passed out 18 y.o. at that.)

Most college degrees are way over rated.

Honestly, in that place it will probably be a bad year for him. Once the stink wears off he'll probably be rewarded well in gump land, just like Updyke.

Bama fans...dragging your sack on a passed out dude is not the norm for New Orleans or for Sodom. Sure, you can probably find sexual deviancy that hasn't even been nicknamed yet. But, it's all willing participants meaning each party is into it or someone shelled out some bucks for it. If Downing wanted to drag his nuts on folks, there's probably a bar in the quarter that could accommodate him. Downing has demonstrated sociopath-like behavior and his attempted tea bagging of the New Orleans DA will likely ensure that he gets exactly what he needs to maybe one day return to society.
Bama fans that defend this guy are really sad. You whipped our asses and deserve the victory, but how bad is it that auburn fans look classy compared to you? Real BAMA fans, please clean your damn house.

Have we forgotten the 2008 LSU vs. Bama Game in TIger Stadium, a BAMA man killed two people because (married couple) for stopping by his Mobile home and saying LSU should have won that game. He took out his gun and killed them both. I was told they were LSU fans, and also told they were also BAMA fans that were killed. That was the game LEE threw 5 interceptions and we lost, but played very close with all the turnovers.
REMEMBER that awful event: What was that outcome?

The reason why LSU fans are up in arms is because a BAMA guy did it and LSU lost to Bama, lets be honest. I bet if a local New Orleans thug did that nobody would care. And believe me if a LSU fan did that to a Bama guy half you would think it was funny.

The guy don't deserve to be labeled as a sex offender or shouldn't have to do jail time, the man already lost his job what more do people want??? Oh yeah I forgot, he's a bama fan and they just spanked LSU's arse. As I type this I'm pretty sure there's a shooting, assault, rape, etc going on in NOLA right now, shoot em up bang bang.

You know what? As far as I'm concerned you are partially correct. Downing wasn't just tea bagging a passed out drunk he was figuratively tea bagging LSU. Do you think he would have done the same to a passed out Gump? I think not.

The guy deserves serious punishment and by that I'm thinking somewhere between 30 days and six months.

I'm all about having fun and practical jokes with friends and have certainly had one too many a time or two, but seriously, when in the hell did some of you extend that to nuts in a strangers face, or anyone's face for that matter?

In all sincerity, if this even occurs to you, you may need to rethink which team you're playing for. Funny thing is, there's another kid in that video that couldn't wait to get his junk out of his pants, but thankfully for him his sister stopped him in time.

No one asked for my 2¢ but you'll get it anyway.

As much as I read about what took place, it took me a long time to actually bring myself to watch the video.

The thing I was most upset about besides the act itself was EVERYONE else. All the contingent around could either care less or encouraged the activities. Not one person stepped up to derail the situation. Our society needs a Seinfeld "good samaritan law" because as much as people think they are "good", they are a fricking mob - and mob mentality rules.

To those that have said, if this would have happened during Mardi Gras, nothing would have been done - I say this, that's a mindless point that only reinforces the same behavior. I'm disappointed that no one intervened to stop a train wreck. It matters immensely that it was videotaped and that's the reason it should and will be prosecuted.

But the fact remains, we make up our society as a whole and the more people stand around watching wrong things happen, the worse it gets. But those same people will be the first to complain about it.

18 year dude was passed out and was prime for some mischief, no doubt. Straws in nose, etc... but where the frick are decent folk nowadays? And who has the balls to stop the mob mentality? No one there, apparently.

If it were me, I'd prosecute everyone I could find a name for in the video with whatever obscure law I could find. But that's just me.

That's being a little judgmental. Teabagger lives near Phenix City, AL and Columbus, GA. Other than Ft. Benning, there's not a whole lot around there. It's not Birmingham or Atlanta. It's small town with small town jobs. It's not a a high industrial area.

I guess people who are native to certain areas, return to their roots where their family is and do the best they can with what the area offers. Why are you criticizing his job??? At least he had one before the teabagging, unlike a lot of people in this shithole of an economy.

Ok, make a deal with you. Downing makes a public apology, probation, registers as a sex offender, and slides his nuts off a cheese grater into a bath of alcohol. That or jail time per THE LAW FOR HIS CRIME...

Exactly what I was thinking. Dont think the NOLA DA sees or hears this. You dont talk like that about someone that literally has your teabags in his hands

Agree with your point, but can we stop using the word "literally" when we mean "not literally" or "figuratively"?

This kind of misuse is how we got stuck with the non-word "irregardless".

He didn't just show them, he rubbed them on an unconscious mans face without permission. I'll walk into a McDonalds
In bossier today and whip my junk out on some unsuspecting soul and see what happens to me. They'd bury me under the jail.

If this douche had the bags to do this on camera with many people watching, there's no telling what he'd be willing to do when no one else was around. And the stupid phuck has a child of his own
