I said no croutons on my word salad, please. this is more like my grandma’s nasty arse lime sherbet salad…with some asparagus and sardine toppings.

It has been a funeral on ole Paul's show the past few days since our wonderful masterful coach started pulling in the big boys! Especially getting the top dawg QB

I don’t see the Alabama fans post around here much anymore. They’ve moved on to becoming Indiana fans since the colors interchange and the Walmart deals are good.

Well sure, they were paying players for years and did it better than other schools. Now everyone does it and the built in advantage is over.

The SEC is still rigging games for them. That will always help.

My BIL is a lifelong gump. He's saying the transfer portal and NIL is a mistake because it teaches kids that they can quit a job and go somewhere else that would pay them more and be a better fit for them. Dead serious. Whenever Bama is doing well he loves the portal and NIL.

I live in Alabama. Most fans believe that bama is a far superior job to LSU. Kiffin isn't at Alabama right now because he isn't ready for Alabama, according to the fans. Whenever he is ready and Alabama comes calling he will leave LSU in a heartbeat.

When asked what makes bama a better job than LSU, it's because saban and bear. Not easier to recruit, not more money, not anything tangible. Just saban and bear.

Bama has had, for long stretches of time, the two greatest CFB coaches ever.

I do not feel bad for them. This just proves it was the coach, not the university.

This is what they won't admit. I even asked if they thought saban would have had the same run had he stayed at LSU....well yeah he's the best coach. So why is bama the better job?

I work with three Alabama fans, and they are the same way. NIL has changed the power structure of college football. Transfer portals have allowed for more parity. Powerhouse schools have lost their depth, including LSU. Annual roster overhaul have stressed coaches to the limit. The old days are finished. Alabama fans know it. They blame their coach. It's not his fault.

Not going to lie....Kelly's inability to field a team capable of beating DeBoer's version of Alabama has bothered the hell out of me as a Tiger fan, 2 years running. An AVERAGE LSU offense would have beaten that team in 2025- and we didn't have it.

I believe we now have the man who will fix that issue.
