Holy shite It doesn't matter what the overall group star ranking was. One was starting 2 freshman the other was not. What about that do you not understand?

Hey. Dipshit. Go find the thread.

It had every star ranking and experience level for every starter on the line. And we weren't starting 2 freshman at that time, we were starting one just like them.

The Olineman getting pushed around isn't really from actually getting pushed around. Not the young bucks anyway. whst I saw was missed assignments and technique. They would whiff or block the wrong guy
Or let a veteren get a good swim move and get Low when they weee too high. Now they are getting better with teqnique.. they are not missing as many assignments. They are growing up fast and they are very big and strong. This oline will be legit.

I am by no means a " O pumper " but the oline is not as talented as it has been in the past and way inexperienced. Add in a few injuries and you have a legit excuse as to why they were not playing well.

Then why was everyone scapegoating Grimes over the line struggles?

I agree with that assessment

the DL is much better because we have alexander, Lawrence and herron back. also, Gilmore and Lacuture are improved because of experience. ditto our freshmen on the OL. they played their hearts out last night.

Injuries. Our whole starting DL didn't play against Troy and was still recovering from injury against state

This. It amazes me how we can discuss this for months almost EVERY DAY in this forum. The papers and blogs (like Dandy Don) can write about this for months.. over and over, but people STILL don't get it. They still keep bringing up the same, tired, bullshite posts.. Do you people even read responses or anything that covers this? It doesn't magically change. It's the same shite as it was earlier in the year.. Jesus.

Yea Dline injuries are why we had 7 points through 3 quarters against Troy. You aren't as smart as you think. When it seems like everyone around you is missing something obvious maybe you should look in the mirror

Why was half the fan base happy with the O hire? People here are stupid.

That is a snapshot of the original starting lineup I believe. It doesn't take into account the line shuffling around or the depth ( in which lsu gets a lot younger ). But please, continue to let simple concepts fly over your head.

So you admit our original starting lineup was just as talented as bama and just as experienced.

What simple concept am I missing?

We are talking about the theory that we don't have enough talent to compete with bama (on the lines)

That is not the lineup that LSU has been using for most of the season. It was used once then injuries hit. Malone is out, Weathersby has been out, Charles has played 3 different positions. Ingram has started a game and Deculus has played a ton. There are other factors to consider besides just the opening night lineup.

Yea and we are playing better than we did then. So how are the freshman hurting us again? And how are they contributing to the lack of talent?

Ingram was a composite 4 star 0.92 rating
Charles was a composite 4 star 0.90 rating

Malone is out because he doesn't like football

It's not "everyone around me".. It's a handful of idiots who either can't read or can't comprehend. I've watched the fricking games, read the papers/blogs.. I know what our problem has been. Did you even read the fricking post I was responding to? Smmfh
