Thank you... I know a lot of people are requesting sticky. Unfortunately, it probably won't get stickied, but I recommend people continue to bump this thread and keep this information on everyone's radar for the weeks to come.

I will do my part to keep this at the top. Other schools fought and got their programs back from unethical and incompetent administrators, LSU can too. Time for the true fans of this program to take action and turn this ship around!

I am in 100% of agreement with all of this. Administrators like the ones at LSU brainwash the fans into thinking they dont have a say. In reality, the fans have the most power of all if they act on it. LSU and the state of Louisiana have been done a grave injustice over the last two years by a select few people. Heads need to roll.

serious question: I am a member of the alumni association, but not TAF. Would a letter to the AA stating that I am ceasing donations and why be a good move. I hesitate, because that money goes to fund scholarship and things of that nature and have no bearing on athletics. But I really commend this real effort to make change and would love to be a part of it if logical.

I would call Tracy Jones at the Alumni Association and ask for a ledger of where your donations are specifically going. Let him know that you will no longer donate to athletic causes, only educational.

I honestly hate this line of thinking. Hate it. This goes way beyond a bunch of kids playing a game. LSU football is big business. When football does well the University benefits. The state of Louisiana benefits. Not to mention that we used to have a pretty passionate fan base. Used to.

Yes if you live in or have business interests in Louisiana, then think of LSU athletics like a stock that you own. When it is up, the whole state benefits. When it is down, changes need to be made for everyone's benefit. If you dont understand or believe this, Idk what to tell you.

Bump and requested a sticky, even if it won't do any good.

I agree that we are probably stuck with O for at least another year unless there are some major scandal type events, rather than just poor performance. But Alleva should be fire as soon as possible. I would like to get King out as well, but I don't have any idea how feasible that is.

Delmore can't explain it. It was a stupid post and he is stupid for posting it. The real idiots are going to start showing their true colors in the next few weeks.

You are absolutely right. The University and Athletic department is going to start seeing the effects immoderately. Attendance is going to plummet. The crowds on campus have been sparse all year. I can only imagine what it will be like the rest of the year.
I have season tickets, so the university already got that money, but my goal is not to spend another nickel that will go to the Athletic Department until Alleva and Orgeron are gone.

One good thing that I hope this lull accomplishes is a purge of all the "Sidewalk Alumni" around this school. I feel in some way they were the first to buy in on this new coach. These loudmouth morons probably love the piped in Nelly and DMX. They can take that with them on the way out.

I agree with the majority of this line of thinking. At this point in time, blaming Orgeron, Canada or any of the players individually will not solve the institutional problem that exits. Alleva first, F. King second, our money to LSU should be better spent.

The fact that the academic side has to rely on the athletics for funding should be more embarrassing to everyone here than that loss.
