I'm going to the one in Metairie tonight. Anyone been to one yet this year or going tonight? Curious to hear Kelly and McMahon talk.

I'm in Metairie and don't care enough to go, but that does suck that Houston doesn't have a stop. I'm sure there are a lot of interested people that would go to it there.

No HOUSTON? The closest location for elite level out of state recruits?
Somebody please explain to me how this makes any sense.

Unfortunately, there’s not a stop anywhere around me this year….guess I should go and watch Moo State’s event.

It’s Louisiana State University. Not I fled to Texas and now I whine about not getting what I want University

Yes, went to the one in Covington.

When you hear McMahon speak in person, you'll understand why he was able to build our roster as quickly as he did.

Also you can write down questions you want them to answer. Maybe ask why they don't stop in Houston.

Hey... I grew up in Texas and I CHOSE to go to LSU! I have season tickets in 3 sports and we have the largest number of alumni outside of Louisiana. The caravan has come every year but not this year. We support the Tigers the same or more than many of you.

Maybe I should stop encouraging kids here from going to LSU... the university should be making a killing on the out of state fees.

I went to the one in Dallas. You will love it. Kelly was great, knows how to work a room, is knowledgeable and believable. Football team is in great hands.

I spent the most time with McMahon. He’s impressive as well. I am so excited for him that his roster has gone the way he wanted. When I met him, Adam Miller had not yet made his decision.

Coach Johnson (Head Volleyball Coach) was great too. She loves LSU and brings in big time resume and experience)

Coach Mulkey and Coach Manieri (fills in for Coach JJ) we’re set to be there but Kramer got called up that day.

Had a table conversation with Paul Mainieri last night at the Metairie CC, which was directly before the Tiger tour at walk on's. He shared some funny stories while he was coach.
D-D Breaux was there also.

I like that they bring in the retired coaches to these events to mingle with the fans. They DGAF anymore and tell the funny stories (some embarrassing) while coaching in the past. Active coaches can't do that.

I hope that one day Coach O is at these events. My God that would be so much fun.

you think fricking recruits or their parents care if the coach doesn't go talk in some country club setting to the alumni?

I have not noticed that Mainieri was going to these events. Seems pretty weird but good that he is still involved and supporting.

pretty sure it was part of his "retirement package" and why wouldn't he support LSU?

Yeah Mainieri talked to us about his struggling golf game the last few months. McMahon talked to me for a couple mins after too. Kelly took like 2 photos with kids and was like okay real quick gotta go. Kelly was funny on the stage though.
