How young we talking?

I took 10-12 year olds to a game no problem.

Now if they are a bit younger, and it's a heated conference game, I leave them at home.

Minus the aggie yell leaders chasing each other with dildos on the sideline, I don't see the problem taking your kid o a night game. your kid is going to hear cuss words from his shithead class mate anyway

My kids were there. We had a blast. I'm not sheltering my kids

I cut my teeth at night games in Tiger Stadium. Mom would rub whiskey on my gums to stop my crying.

False. My mère would soak my pacifier in rum prior to giving it to me while my père would let crawfish pinch and hang from nipples while we watched da Tigah's play.

Fond memories.

False. But parents who bring them shouldn't be catered to.

It's like a Mars Gras parade. If you bring your kid to Bacchus, you better be prepared. You knew what you were getting into when you left the house.

How can you learn to boo and scream at every flag thrown if you don’t start as a child??? (Even when the flags are correct)

I think bringing young children to any sporting event can be touchy at times...however, if they are old enough to somewhat understand what is going on in the game and can handle the physical aspects of attending a sporting event, I really have no problem with it.

Used to bring ours and they had a blast. Each had their own snack/toy bag. Doubt we could do that now with all the regulations.

I don't think there is any problem with kids going to a night football game anywhere in the country.

But parents should be aware that there are people who are going to cuss or act like idiots at the sporting event, especially if it's on the weekend and at night.

I don't understand how people willingly put themselves in these situations and then act shocked when they walk into Tiger Stadium and it's not a bunch of 80-year-olds enjoying a tea party.

My four year old son has been going to games since he was 1.5. He's a better fan than most of the folks we have sitting in the stands. I wouldn't bring him to a Bama game or anything on that level, but we did attend the game last night, as well as a couple of smaller games earlier in the season. I don't see the issue? He has heard cursing before (but never from me, ha), and knows LSU games are loud and wild. He loves it, and enjoys the tailgating, band, pageantry, etc.

Y'all complain about the lack of die hard fans these days; but then bitch when you see parents trying to raise the very fans you say we lack. Kids who go to games growing up tend to turn into the fans who bleed purple and gold as adults.

My earliest memory of LSU is a night game against ole piss. Rite of passage. It should be required!

I have been going to all the games since I was 8 years old. Children most certainly do belong at the games.

False. Just don’t get mad if they hear bad words from the people behind them
