If you don't want your child to hear or see profane drunks, don't bring them.

My father had season tickets for the 1959 season when I was 9, and he took me to all of the home games. This is how I developed my interest in football, Mike the Tiger, and LSU. Bring the kids, they will love it and have a great time.

10-15 years ago, I'd say True. But now, Tiger Stadium is pretty soft. Not too much for kiddos.

It’s up to the parent. If they can handle it, it’s their choice. I didn’t bring mine to night games until probably 8 or 9 but it’s because they would have been miserable by the 4th quarter.... and it’s much louder.
I tend to let everyone make their own parenting decisions.

0-3 no business being there. Honestly can be bad for the development of their ears
4-5 Is tricky, really depends on the kid and where you sit
6+ is good.
The thing I’ll say about neck- Your kids are going to hear a ton of filth at school and with friends. Think about when you were a kid. If you can’t yeah your child right from wrong and bad words from good words then that’s your issue.
I brought my nephew to a game when i was in college and he was 8. He heard neck and started giggling. After the game i simply said “They say bad things during that chant and your not allowed to say those words” he responded “yes sir” I’ve never heard him say dick or bitch.

If your kids can tough it out till half-time, the stadium empties and there's plenty of room to play, the drunks are passed out and no longer cursing and parents can enjoy the remainder of the game.

I'll add this-the band has made it even more fun for kids since hiring the new director last year. I was in GBFTL under frank wickes, LRM, and Roy king. While I believe those were some of the best years, the current shows are definitely more entertaining for the everyday fan/non music people. My son loved the Veterans Day salute and the Star Wars show. More entertaining than Latin Flair
And of course, no denying the A&M cadet band's excellence! We both thoroughly enjoyed their show, as well.

Individual parents need to make that call. However, you need to control your children and not foist your whining, crying kids on people around you.
Bonus, teach them to nut punch guys wearing the opposing teams gear, they can get away with it if you act horrified. Try not to laugh when you apologize, buy the kid ice cream after. Works better with nephews than your own kids

Personally, I would not take my 6 year old to a night game. He would be exhausted by the time the game even starts from tailgating all day.
I'm planning on taking him when he's 8 or so to his first game.

How else will the children learn the right way to make a piss bomb or scream profanities when they get to be grandmothers?

T/F - pictures of loser LSU basketball players shouldn't be allowed on Tigerdroppings.

Why would u bring up night games? I started going to LSU football games when I was 11, Never missed, so what is the problem?

False. You can't protect your children from everything that the public does. Sure, I wouldn't take the kid to some places. But a football game is not a place that should be written off automatically. It's a lesson to teach your child that the behavior some people exhibit is not right. They will hear those words eventually anyways.
