Guys, Can we quit saying "route concepts" when we really just mean "routes". There is not one guy on this board who knows the difference between a "route concept" and a "route" - that's because there IS NO DIFFERENCE. It's just something that talking heads say to sound important.

Alright well you know nothing about football. thanks for making it easy.

You shut your whore mouth Lebowski.

Coach o is a mastermind and a state treasure. And "Slinger" is one of, if not the best, offensive mind in college football.

So shut it, or I'll pee on your rug.

If you watch the game and see the left defensive end run by our right tackle repeatedly. Then run through out right tackle and a running back sent to help. I challenge you to explain that has anything to do with scheme.

Are we not capable of moving the pocket by rolling the QB out?

Or can we only run straight drop backs while our QB gets killed by the turnstile at RT?

Who says that? Are you homophobic? More importantly, you are still deflecting from talking about the topic at hand. Just admit you don’t have faith in Brossette so we can move on.

He was piggybacking on what Matt Flynn said last week and during the game, going max protect is an offense killer.

Well, looks like SE plans to do a lot of that this weekend on the plains. I find it hard to believe he would acknowledge anything from the second half of SLU. One of the worst offensive performances in LSU history.
This is why you don’t go overboard with excitement over an interim coach.

Ensminger and Orgeron were both interim coaches when the big numbers came in 2016. They got a shot of enthusiasm into the team at a time when we were also getting ready to play a slate of much weaker teams. It was a recipe for short term success and not an indicator of program and scheme stability.

You guys want spread and throw it around. You have to have an offensive line that can block. We have not had one for several years. This is not new

I can't comprehend the downvotes for this...
Watch the game again, gizmos. You can't unsee it.

Traore was getting killed out of his pass block stance, they brought the RB to chip, the End used a spin/swim to move inside and Traore was toast. Period.

Many delusional Rant freak geek cheerleaders think our OL is wonderful. (Look at all the down votes) They're just having problems because of injuries and need more seasoning/experience.

Nothing will change until they start recruiting OL's from high schools that throw the ball a lot. (OL Square Peg-Round Hole recruiting) Shorten the fricking learning curve.

Better gtfo of Louisiana and start recruiting nationally.

What's that definition of Insanity?

I don't. I'm skeptical. What's wrong with skepticism? I don't think he's going to suck either.

Oh, and go frick yourself.

Quick passes mean you don’t have to block as long.

We aren’t doing that.

I don't what LSU tiger you are watching but LSU does not runs the same plays, schemes, routes, etc. that other schools are running. We are running what LSU, Michigan, etc. ran in the 60's.

this is a fallacy. You want to do the defense some favors? How about a few first downs? How about running more than 59 freaking plays.

Yep. How does 7/27 in 3rd down conversions on the season sound? Now that’s putting the D on the field a lot!

This scenario is best countered by no play, other than the toss dive!

Well, Miles won 10 games per year. I’ll take that over Dinardo and Hallman. Oh wait, you probably think LSU football started in 2001. Sorry. I’ll hang up and listen to the complaining.
