He mentioned it this morning on OTB. Is that confirmed. How does Jones feel about that? Will he be calling up front stunts and Jones be calling secondary plays? Going to be interesting.

LSU announced him as LB coach. No mention of co-dc. Hester and Hanny have both said LB coach only.

CO-DC by title only is my understanding. Daronte Jones is the DC and the only DC. Keep in mind Baker was a DC by title at Miami and is moving to a position coach so adding more title means more money for him in most cases. I seriously doubt we will see a CO-DC in reality just a title. Happens all the time

He does have more experience than Jones being a DC.
Hopefully the position doesn't involve play calling or anything too major, but it makes sense to have him there as someone Jones can lean on/help handle some things.

When LSU did the press release it said linebackers coach. LSU didn’t mention co/dc. I’m sure he will help with game planning since he has experience, but I’m guessing Jones will call the plays.
