I'm not sure if links to other message boards are allowed so I just cut and paste....

"I have attended many. One of best college gameday atmospheres i have ever been to. They primarily play night games so it turns into an all day affair - the earliest I started tailgating there was 10:00am and there were people already starting. The crowd is really into the game and loud, heck they have registeredon the Richter scale before.

Fans are very good to opposing teams, unless you are SEC, especially Ole Miss and Auburn.

Will go back there in a heartbeat."

"It is awe inspiring. Some of the best fans you will meet. If you are an imbiber, bring your A+ game. These peeps will shame you."

"Went to an Ole Miss - LSU game two years ago. Awesome experience...a true college football experience from the tailgates to the game. If you can go, go."

I found the thread and read the 8 replies. Weird not having one negative reply about LSU. I'm sure there will be all sorts of stories come 2017 though

I think he's trying to say that we'll play them at their place, which is a dome, in 2017.

Chances are MORE than good that the Syc. "return" game in 2017 will be "sold" to the N.O. superdome.Based on recent scheduling trends, I don't think Tiger stadium will ever see another good/great OOC opponent. Virtually any ooc opponent that's "sellable" will be moved to a neutral site....very sad

This is amazing - I hope it's the opening weekend of the year and has a Tennessee 1998-type atmosphere. I really want to befriend some LSU tailgaters and hopefully they let me try some of their food. They are supposedly the gold standard of tailgaters.
