I think that a lot of people aren't taking into account that a team with something to play for, that is fully healthy, and that thinks they are in the same echelon as their opponent, will play at a higher level. Texas in Week 2 is not the Texas team that has been playing since that game. Their season essentially ended in Week 2, and as injuries mounted, they lost momentum and steam. That does not make the Week 2 win any less notable or worth considering as a good win.

Texas a top 10 kinda like Penn State is a legit top 10 or Michigan is legit top 15, or cinn a legit top 25. Hell, cinnci might not be a legit top 50.

Well the committee gave Baylor credit for a "quality win" over Texas, but yet that same committee didn't mention LSU's quality win over the Longhorns. So you can't have it both ways.

If we beat Georgia , we have beaten every top team in the whole conference. Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Florida. Cant put together a better resume than that. After all, isn't the Sec the strongest conference? and frick the haters!

Thinking Texas was a top-10 win is no less idiotic than putting Ohio State at #1 because Cincinnati is among their "quality" wins, or believing that Ohio State's overall resume is superior to LSU's.
