yes especially considering Troy

Both the Troy and Miss. St. losses happened because of injuries and lack of depth in the trenches. Unless a similar spate of injuries occur this year, I expect LSU to be good to very good on both OL & DL.

So no.

One of those teams don’t belong in that sentence. Injuries and depth issues can’t account for that BLOWOUT lose

Spin it however you want but Ed Orgeron led LSU to a LOSS to TROY....

AT HOME.

A blowout loss to State is always more acceptable to me than losing on homecoming to a Sun Belt school.

We did not get his commitment before he left. Going home to take some time to discuss his options with his family (most importantly Dad). Now we wait.

I said this a week ago and still believe it...IF he wants to commit it will be a silent commit till O and staff have time to speak with the affected QBs and team leaders.

Why wouldnt ghey keep it under wraps? There is no value in just coming out and releasing any info until all issues here are handled.

He also follows more than 5,000 people. Judging by his timeline, he appears to be nothing more than a professional marketer. I’m guessing he knows nothing and is merely guessing.

There were no depth issues in 2004 (Saban) and 2008 (Miles) when we needed late game miracles to beat Troy. BTW, both of those teams were defending National Champions.
In 2004, 3-4 Troy team took the lead late driving right down the field on a Saban defense. Only a perfectly thrown pass for a TD by Marcus Randall saved us.
In 2008, a 6-4 Troy team gave up the lead late in the game on a fumbled punt. We were trailing 31-3.
Yes, we came back to win those games but it just shows that's it's not out of the realm of possibility for LSU to lose to a team like Troy.

And Saban did the same v UAB so what does that prove by itself? Exactly nothing.

O is on the clock now. He can turn some things around, or he could flop.

Beating the man up everyday on a message board does nothing, and pointing out the positives everyday on a message board also doesn't make a difference.

Saturdays in the fall will spell it all.

this is Tiger Rant - 101

any thread that gets started ends with CEO being a bad coach

makes is a pig slop - it all goes into the CEO bad coach slop - no reason to post anything on anything because at the end of the day - CEO is a bad coach and how fast will he be fired is the CORE of this site

enjoy it - if we start out 3-0 / CEO is still a bad coach and how fast can we fire him

if we beat Bama - CEO is still a bad coach and he will never beat him again - how fast can we fire CEO

if we win the Natty - CEO is still a bad coach - he will never win another one at LSU - how fast can we fire him

Love my team and can't wait to go to Dallas

That post would make more sense if Orgeron HAD beaten Bama or HAD won a Natty or Had even come close. He hasn’t. He didn’t have any credentials anywhere close to that when he was gifted the job either. People are justified in being critical. He and Alleva deserve all the pressure they’re getting because of the halfassed amateur way the hiring was handled.

In his entire history, is there any evidence at all that this isn’t true?

Outside of being a d line coach.
