We did not get his commitment before he left. Going home to take some time to discuss his options with his family (most importantly Dad). Now we wait.

Dad allegedly wants Cincy? If so, doesn’t bode well for LSU.

I think that is reasonable. It's a big decision for him.

If he chooses Cincinnati, then there is probably not much LSU could have done to convince him to come here. The level of competition, exposure, surrounding talent, realistic opportunity to play for a title ALL favor LSU. That, as well as the fact LSU isn't returning a starting QB. But if he felt more comfortable at Cincy because of the relationship with a former coach and proximity to home, then I don't know how LSU could compete with that.

From what smartbuck says, sounds like the dad wants Cincinnati.

If he's not convinced on LSU by now it's probably over.

I haven't followed this saga too closely so I ask, are LSU and Cincinnati the only two schools he's considering or are there other schools pursuing him?

The same way Bama does. Dodge chargers.
