Quit being argumentative and accept the fact this pitching staff is absolute trash. You always want to try and assert dominance on an internet message board. Get a life you homo

You dumbasses don’t consider EVERYTHING like extra pitches thrown due to passed balls and errors.

Or there were circumstances during the season like injuries and pitch count limitations.

This isn’t black and white like many on here are claiming it to be.

Dude, make all of the excuses that you want but the pitching was nothing short of atrocious this year.

If Copilot is accurate we also lead in passed balls. We had substantial increases in BB, HBP, and fielding errors in relation to past year averages...

Not making excuses. All I know is you don’t lose as much as you have the last few years and not pay the piper eventually on DEPTH. Like I’ve said we know he didn’t land a couple pitchers he wanted during the portal period for whatever reason (I suspect money). It is pretty simple as razor thin as they have been all season between winning close games and losing, the results can be skewed by not taking opportunities when you had them such as mental errors and not turning double plays.
The defensive play, or lack thereof, has been part of the issues as much as losing Moore.
This team is in the tourney if he starts all season and Brown is healthy. You need 13 wins and anyone that doesn’t believe they get that doesn’t know baseball. When you tax a thin staff, you’re making the pen pitch more when they shouldn’t have to and much of the results are what you saw. Last seasons team was far far better defensively . THAT factor into all of this. Lots of new position players either playing new positions out of need.
The good news is if he can hold them all, they will be a hell of a lot better next season from that experience.

Look at the run differential both ways between LSU and UGA…

Literally you can walk up to the plate and just stand there... never swing and get on base 75-80% of the time.

This team as a whole has been bad this yr. Only 2 or 3 positions have been good.

it was a TOTAL fail this year in every aspect imaginable - and it took Jay about halfway through the SEC slate to take responsibility for it, which kinda bothered me, but he finally did so either he's learned his lesson and this won't happen again or next year will be his Waterloo because this is LSU and baseball just means more than anywhere else.

I happen to think he'll get it right. Only time will tell.

This is what yields results like we have. In our last 6 series we have been swept in 5 of them and have a 3-15 SEC record in that stretch.

This is some of the worst coaching we’ve seen at LSU.

I wonder if that’s ever been done before by any SEC team? That’s astoundingly bad.
