2 innings max per Moscona.

Eta: I forgot to add that he said he didn't know what that meant for Labas' availability this weekend.

Eta2: Update from James Moran

To clarify:
- #LSU hopes Nick Storz will make his debut and start Sunday against Hawaii
- He’s felt some shoulder fatigue this week, so he’ll throw some Saturday to see how he feels
- If all is good, he’ll start and go two innings
- If he can’t, Ma’Khail Hilliard will start

This was hinted at earlier this week, but I'm excited to see him throw.

Saw on Twitter that Austin Bain was getting practice work at 1st base today too.

All the pieces are coming together

From James Moran
Paul says there’s two reasons for this:
1. Potential way to keep Bain in the lineup if Cabrera plays left and Beau DHs
2. Bryce Jordan is the backup catcher this weekend w/ Coomes

Also on Twitter:
Jake Slaughter batting leading was a one-game experiment

Paul planning to bat Zach Watson lead off tomorrow night and move Brandt Broussard up into the two hole.
Get speed at the top of the order #LSU

Would be a huge boost to this staff if Storz takes the Sunday role after what we have seen from Labas. Or vice versa if Storz impresses but they want to keep Labas as a starter.

Gotta keep the Bain Train bat in the lineup. He has some serious pop in his bat

I think you’ll see Labas take over Sunday regardless of what Storz does.

frick yes.

Steady improvement from Hilliard and Labas plus being able to depend on Storz for innings here and there makes this team so, so much better. I won't get too ahead of myself, but it almost seems like pitching could turn into somewhat of a strength for this team with a few lucky bounces.

Hopefully just for Hawaii

He's been stellar as a reliever

I wouldn't mind seeing how Hilliard handles a starting role. At the end of the day, I would think it's gonna be Labas, Storz or Hilliard on Sundays. Unless, 2 of them can overtake Gilbert somehow and then Gilbert goes to the pen. I'm not so sure I see that happening, but you never know.

Labas has command + three pitches + poised.

Hard to find as a #3 starter in the college game.

He's been incredible so far. I'm excited to see him go 5, 6, 7 innings.

Looks like we may see Kodros soon too. I'd still like to see him enter a game after Hess or Sanders, just completely throw people off on their timing.
