I missed the game last night. I see in the box score that he only went 1 inning. How did he look?

It was planned to be one inning, because they wanted Labas to come in on a schedule. Labas is obviously being groomed as a starter.
I did not see the game, because I was travelling, but I read that Stortz looked fine AFTER he hit the first two batters.

He settled in nice to retire the side after hitting the first two batters he faced. Seems like that could've been nerves. CPM didn't seem concerned at all and praised him in postgame. He will be solid for us.

Simply put, I thought he started off the inning shaky but settled in nicely to get out of it without giving up a run. I'm excited to see him next week.

Hit batter, hit batter, sacrifice, strikeout, groundout.
He looked good. I liked seeing the big strikeout after the sacrifice that put two runners in scoring position.

Wild thang...good. Hit the first 2 batters, no one was going to stay in the box after than, and they never were able to get a decent swing on him...

I must have stepped away because I don't remember him hitting a second batter.

Yet, hit the second one in the foot. I think he had som trouble with his breaking pitch, but it was his first action....

Fastball was 94 mph with little effort

Kinda seems similar to when Ranaudo came to LSU. He was a 6’-7” hard throwing righty from New Jersey. Hope Storz does just as good as Anthony.

He looked about as expected. He battled back from a rough start and closed out the inning and could have pitched at least another but there was really no part to push him. He looks good wearing #21.

Young P kept his composure and stay focused on the task at hand. Could have easily let is slip away after the two plunks, but he didn't. Hope he gets to throw an IP or 2 this weekend. Keep grinding.

Well, you can at least say, he wasn’t afraid to come inside.......;)

He made a pretty damn good play on the sacrifice bunt. He moves good for a big guy.

I expected him to strike out the first three batters on nine pitches .
