I agree. Our DL can be the difference in this game. I was optimistic with what I saw against Auburn. We got on the line. Against Army, we were back to 1 yd off the ball. They got leverage on us and ran pretty effectively. I wish we would put Wingo over the C and let him put pressure right up the gut.

they haven't played our 100 plus rated defense either. Let's not act like our defense is good. Your gonna be let down.

Bama D SHUT DOWN Kiffens offense.

And LSU has the #1 scoring offense in the nation with a QB who dominated them last year when he wasn't as good as he is now (nor the players around him either).

Auburn and Mizzou held all the teams they played in check offensively except LSU. I think LSU's offense is better than what you're thinking.

i get it but tbh, we have faced 8 shite defenses in a row. Bama is a top Defense. They crushed ole miss's high power offense. Yes we have talent but it wont matter when Saban's front 7 whips our front guys and gets to Daniels. Daniels will have to rush for 250 to win cause he will be running for his life. That number one offense has literally been against shite defenses. Ill say this. If we go into bama and beat them, it will be a bigger win than last year and the biggest win since bama in 2019.

this sounds about right to me. We will score but it won’t be nearly as easy as it’s been against all the previous opponents. And Bama will score easily against our D. Auburn and Army aren’t really good measures of defensive progress.

You know our OL is pretty damn good? Y’all act like we are trotting out with Liam Shanahan.

Joe Milton had close to 350 total yards on them.

Bama finished ranked #5 last year and had the #9 D in the nation, but Daniels dominated them with an O-line which was not as good as this year's O-line.

They're a good D and will present challenges, but it's not like it's the 2011 Bama D out there. Bama will need to worry too because they are 131st (3rd to last in the nation) at giving up sacks and we have Perkins back there who can cause major havok with his speed when we disguise what he is doing more (which we have been doing lately).

Right...but not as a spy

By applying pressure

If we use Perk as a spy I think they torch us

I think they could hold us to around 30. 28-34 range. Im just worried we would give up 38-42 against them. I will say Jayden Daniels is going to have to win us this game again. He beat them last year and this year he will have to play like the Heisman at their house to beat them again. I think it’s definitely possible because he’s been playing that way lately.

Jalen Milroe vs Jayden Daniels. I think it will be a shootout so it comes down to qb play. One thing going for Milroe is he gets to face our defense which every QB has their best game of season against. Daniels will have to carve up a stout Bama D to win.

More worried about long passing plays, they’ve hit on some deep shots past couple weeks.

I agree and while Milroe isn't the best QB, he's dangerous running (goes back to the subject of this thread ) but he is dangerous on his deep passes.

Their defense is good enough and make no mistake about it, they've had this game circled like always.

The LSU offense will score and have been improving in every game.

Fingers crossed we can stop the run so they don't eat the clock and our offense stays on field with a combo of runs and passes.

Running QBs have always given Saban fits and Daniels is about as mobile as they get but to combine that, he's improved with his passing a lot too.

Looking forward to it. I'll need to stock up on beer.
