He left out to two "big" games by JJ. Didn't lie if you reread his statement.

Well, they are scheming around weaknesses and you’re seeing the results. If JD doesn’t improve, it will only get worse and the offense will become even more predictable.

I’m convinced Daniels has no clock in his head and cannot anticipate the WR breaks in the routes to throw them open. He can run but as we saw yesterday teams have figured him out and will shut that shite down quickly.
The scheme doesn’t help. The play calls are bad and uncreative. Even worse when Denbrock calls long developing pass plays with a QB who won’t throw the ball deep and get chunk plays as designed.
All in all, it’s a total shite show.

The down votes are the ones that have no idea about football the don't get that a quarterback that can't get through his progressions quick enough put way more pressure on an offensive line all they know how to say is well nuss threw a bunch of interceptions

n 2018 and 2019 you had essentially the same OLine at LSU. Yet in 2018 we were an above average SEC team, and 2019 might have been the greatest team in history.
You defeated your own argument. We had same line and same QB. Amazing that players can get better with age and experience.

It is all phases of the offense. It is the decision making by the QB. It is the play calling by the coaching staff. It is the blocking, injuries, and depth to the OL. It is WR's working in routes and catching balls. It even comes down to the previous coaching staffs lack of recruiting at the OL and development.
Almost every play one of these plays a factor into the offense not clicking.

in 2011 LSU had an undefeated season thru 9 games, and then Miles switched QBs. By the end of the year, the same OLine wasnt suddenly the reason the team couldnt move the ball. It was the new QB, who had passing games of 88, 67, 53, and 30 yards. The play calls were changed because of who was passing the ball

Are you really still defending JJ?
I left out a lot of games in my OP
But since you want to get into it, Lee had 1 game below 100 yds that yr. The first game where he had all of 5 practices with the #1s. JJ had 4 games below 100 yds, after 4 yrs of being the starter
Posters arent defending me, they think youre a moron for still defending that level of QB play in the passing game. And as was posted already, both QBs were in the race for SEC Sr QB, and despite being benched, Lee was still awarded the title.
Plus, Lee played in preseaon NFL games. JJ was asked to convert to a receiver. There is no defense of him on any level

Our Oline can't run block to save its life
And Denbrock did them zero favors by only calling inside zone against a UT d-line that was literally just shooting the gaps the whole game. No counter plays or any runs to the perimeter.

left side used the lookout block- and i mean yes the QB needs to release the ball in no more than 3 sec. but that whole side of the line graded an F

I clearly saw missed blocks and blown assignments on the O Line Saturday that caused sacks, before Daniel's could do or look at anything. It is certainly somewhat on the line.
When he stood behind the line, not rushed, pump faking but not throwing the ball, it was on him, or maybe even the receivers not getting open, or running the wrong routes.
I guess we would have to know every responsibility on the field on a given play. My bet is that it is a collective shite show at times.
They are all in a new system with new teammates and new coaches. They can't be compared to Bama whose system has been in place for 15 years. To expect a well-oiled machine already is unrealistic.

Lol. Throw downfield And maybe it would help. And back off teams rolling all 11 within 10 yards of the ball pre snap. shite can your agenda and think.

I listed 4 games in 2011 where the QB couldnt get to 100 yards passing, and you try to single the most embarrassing as some kind of defense
No one was shitting on the OL outside the Alabama games. The OL was not getting “blamed” for beating UGA 42-10 or Arkansas 41-17.
In the games you were talking about we were running all over teams.
Also JJ got so much fricking heat. Well deserved. But the OL wasn’t good either against Alabama.

Actually the more I think about it how do you scheme around it? The Raven’s have a mauling physical o line to scheme for their QBs athleticism. We sort of have the worst of both worlds
We have quick routes all game he doesn’t rip the ball

In 2019 you had CEH. He saved Joe’s arse many a time picking up blocks that the O-line missed. He didn’t get enough credit for that.
In 2011 it wouldn’t have mattered who the QB was. The entire team was unprepared and quit in the first quarter.

By the end of the year, the same OLine wasnt suddenly the reason the team couldnt move the ball.
Admittedly add the worst was there also vs Bama at 92yds.

quote:This dumb because in the same breath it was several sacks where everyone seen it coming pre snap. JD just didn’t make the adjustments and change the protection either.
There were several sacks where the OL offered 0 resistance. No QB could have avoided them.
