Totally!

If we had been to Omaha last year, Bregman would have fielded that ball cleanly.

...this is pathetic reasoning that is a result of being unable to deal with disappointment.

Winning is not guaranteed. Too many people take it for granted. To win at this level, you have to play your best. We've been playing tight since the SEC tournament.

One of the finest moments in LSU sports history. Yes,that was a difficult loss but for our fans to set their own fandom aside for a few, brief shining moments to compliment that gutty Stony Brook squad on a tremendous effort was remarkable.

Well, at least you presented a rational argument rather than the response of someone with limited mental capacities, like "you're an idiot" or "you're retarded". However, even CPM credits a little part of the 09 title to the team getting to Omaha in 08.

What beat us last night is the same thing that has kept us out of the CWS for the last three years - failure to adapt coaching philosophy to the new bats. Dead bats and high seams on the ball are forcing teams to learn how to play small ball when needed. LSU is mediocre at small ball, which gives Stony Brooks and UCLA's a chance to beat even our ace pitcher.

Do you think our boys don't know how to play ball in a different state?

Bregman started the season lights out at SS.
The final stretch of the regular season he started misplaying a couple routine balls.

That's what lost the game.
Sux but true.

Or maybe the ghost of Stoney Brook will haunt LSU forever.
We will never win another title in baseball.
Might even have to forfeit our six we already have.

I don't think this argument is completely absurd, but I don't agree. I surely thought the stony brook losses last year would have helped this team understand that to make it all the way you have to step up and make the plays at the plate, but apparently not

Is that the best you can do?
You start a thread that is rather ridiculous, you then get angry at the responses/insults so you claim "mental capacity" insult of other posters, when clearly you showed same "mental capacities" when you started this thread.

I totally disagree... The "new" bats are not "new". They have been playing with them for 3 years. They won 57 games with the same bats, using the same philosophy they used last night. Simple execution in clutch situations and UCLA playing mistake free baseball is what beat LSU last night.
LSU wasn't outcoached, outpitched or outplayed. UCLA is less talented but simply did the job in the clutch.

Not angry at all... If the thread is so ridiculous, argue THE TOPIC, not who is limited mentally....
