Although Stingley certainly has a lot of talent at WR, it will be difficult for him to get as many snaps on offense as Chase will get.
He may well be in the top five.

Considering that he won't play WR til his jr year, probably not.

Hes faster, more athletic, and I would argue had CEO let him play this year, he would have given Chase a run for his money.
I think a lot of Stingley, but his natural position is clearly, unambiguously cornerback and that is his future occupation for 8 to 15 years after he finishes his college career.
Chase, on the other hand, is the most polished, complete and ready to play in a modern NFL offense that LSU has perhaps ever had and certainly as a sophomore. And we are a program that has placed many excellent WRs in the league over the past decades.
Now, he has not had to make the circus/highlight reel type grabs that Juice and OBJ had while here, but he's playing with a more accurate passer than they did, so I can't penalize him for that. Likewise, Josh Reed inexplicably got open and made plays from the position without obvious athletic advantages of those other 3 guys, but that was sort of a perfect storm.
As far as route running, getting open and winning those 50/50 balls, there is nothing like him in LSU history. This is a kid we will be talking about for decades as far as the year he's having with Joe in 2019.

Plenty of high schoolers go both ways full time but posters on here want to insult stingleys manhood and insinuate he can’t handle it. Sad!

shite. I don't think he will play offense a whole lot honestly. Maybe a play here and a play there. We just can't risk him getting injured on the offensive side of the ball when he's the best cornerback on our team and one of the best in the nation. If he were to get hurt somehow getting tackled or blocking, etc. on offense, that would be a huge blow to our defense. I don't see him playing alot of offense regardless of whats being said this season about it. Why isn't he playing this season if he's that big of a threat? Wouldn't we be able to utilize his skills on offense now with us playing for a national title and all? It just doesnt make sense to risk his health when we have a loaded offense with plenty of more than capable and ultra talented players at every skill position on the field. Next year will be no different either. We will be loaded again, and that's without the incoming freshman we will have contributing next year we well. This is just not smart.

I hope not.!he needs to stay on the defensive side of the ball. Why risk injury as a receiver:
Why even put a helmet on at all and compete? Football is a violent game baw!

Reggie Bush was a lot more than just a decoy with the Saints lol

They need to crank the jugs machine up to 11.
Under pressure, it may take Brennan a full season to develop a nice touch. Right now, he fires perfectly placed bullets but at 110mph...

Sure didn't look fast when he got burned vs bama but I like your evaluation. Will tell jamarr chase that so he will get 200 yards a game these next two games, let him know for next year as well

No because if he plays both snaps he will have very limited snaps in special packages.
He can’t play full time both ways and return kicks.

Stingley will get some plays here and there on offense but Chase will average more yards per game than Stingley gets for the entire year receiving.

Insane, Chase is a beast.

Stingley will only get enough run at WR to launch a Woodson-like Heisman campaign.
If he houses a punt or two, catches 10-15 passes with a couple scores and picks off 5-8 passes with a pick-6 or two, he’s probably getting an invite to NY.

If/when Stingley plays both ways he won’t have more than 3 or 4 snaps a game at WR. He’s a DB first, then a PR, then a WR at a distant third.
