He also said (in regards to the fans):
- "...but is that it? We just gonna pack it up? Because we can pack it up. And by we I mean me and my family."

- "...and I can make some people real pissed off if i wanted to. I hold that power."

Stingley sr really said that? They can right frick off out of here.

I feel like all those NIL deals will require him to play as long as he is able to. Could be wrong but not sure he can just quit with those.

Ed needs to open up try outs, meaning there are no starters. Let that bitch sit on the freaking bench.

Let the players that want to play, play.

- Ricks
- Boutte
- Deculus
- Bech
- Thomas
- Flotts

Try outs for everyone else.

Awful interview that made him look soft and petty. Basically showed that his son's heart isn't really here. It's all about the $. We're gonna lose with him or without him, doesn't matter honestly. I never understood the kissing up to this guy who seems to not know his place. When your kid is playing, it's dumb to comment on the games especially to national audiences.

The Rohan interview following it was damn good though. Rohan is good staying positive while also addressing the negative. He's got a ton of knowledge and experience to draw on. Even related to Johnson's behind the back pass talking about how he remembers himself in a situation like that. I just enjoy listening to him talk about football situations because he was a great Tiger.

Be careful what you wish for. He coulda gone without saying that.

He overviewed it twice then held Stingley over our heads. Essentially implied if us fans don’t stop talking shite about his son he will jerk him. Was shocking to hear a parent feel they have that power or are important/spiteful enough to do that. He’s having a really hard time acknowledging that his son and rest of the defense quit in the 4th. Tackling was abysmal and everyone looked soft.

Hey Sr, jerk him. Cuz if the product is similar for the rest of the season he’s going to be continuously picked on by fans…as he is the leader of the defense where effort and example is paramount.

If they said you had to either sit through watching team play like this, or you have to get the vaccine.....
That's how you increase vaccinations!

Any DAD of a football player that puts himself in front of a microphone as much as he does is an ego maniac, and a problem! What he's really saying is Stingley is overhyped and if it keeps getting exposed he will opt out before he falls further in draft!

every highly rated kid, and apparently their parents, that comes to play at LSU seems to think they are the program, what they fail to see is that no one player, coach, AD, whatever, is bigger than LSU, and they will soon, inevitably be replaced, and in many cases, for the most part will be forgotten

I have theory that we sell so much self glory to the kids they never buy into the team or program. I may be wrong but we definitely have done systemic problems

Those were stupid and incredibly douchey comments but the son is not responsible for the sins of the father. And in defense of the father we all take criticism of ourselves better than we take criticism of our kids.

Does a lack of that make players run the wrong way and forget how to block ?

If not, won’t help much

An FCS opponent might

Y’all cry about coach speak & Coach O withholding information about the team, but when you get the truth, you are too fragile to handle it.

No doubt Stingley Sr. is tuned in to this board and some of the Facebook groups. Specific references made.

meh

The kids are down...probably feel defeated at the moment.

A pickup from fans isn't a crazy request.

The problem is there are about 5 things that fans are pissed about at the moment. Unfortunately, this isn't going to be a big crowd.

THIS X 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

You don’t go on a podcast with a huge LSU listenership and spew that kind of shite. What power do you hold? NOTHING NADA ZERO!!!!!!!'!! Your a players dad (a good player! But that’s it!!!!!!!)Plus the fact that he’s a man 20 or 21 so he can actually do what HE WANTS! Also Big Sting is an ego maniac and boy does it show. Maybe cause his dad and his son are really good football players, STUDS!! Him not so much. (Arena Ball isn’t the League). Guess it really does skip a generation!! Could possibly be why he’s so angry and threatens to take his ball and go home all the time. Bye Felicia
